On Sunday April 1st, Blaise, Daddy and I went for a drive out to Fillmore because we thought that Thomas the Train was going to be in town. Driving into town we didn't see many people and soon realized that we were there on the wrong weekend. Well, that didn't stop us from having the best time. On the first Sunday of the month, they have these cool trains, made by the guys themselves, train club guys, and they give rides to the public. We totally lucked out. We had so much fun!!! Blaise then wanted to have an ice cream cone after his ride so we just relaxed in the park and enjoyed the morning! A Super Fun Day!! Enjoy the ride! ... and the cool music by Daniel Ho

S'Mores with Blaise and Daddy

This is the coolest invention ... a s'mores maker that you can use without going camping. We set it up one night after dinner. Blaise thought it was the greatest, I loved it too! You really had to watch your marshmellow or else it was flaming in a second! A really fun and festive dessert!

Fillmore Train Show

Last week we went out to Fillmore to check out the train show! The weather was beautiful! Blaise wanted to have train sets at home just like the ones that we saw at the show. Needless to say once we got home I set up both of his Thomas the Train sets and he's been busy all week. Enjoy the music with the slideshow brought to us by Daniel Ho. St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day is a festive day at our house. This year Blaise said that it was Zack's turn to wear the hat. I bought this hat 3 yrs. ago and have taken a picture of Blaise wearing it each year.

The first year I had to prop him up in a chair and put a towel in the hat so that it would stay on his head.

A perfect day for a parade. We scoped out our perfect spot and got settled in for a fun time. Blaise really enjoyed himself! A long as he has a lollypop and can see some fire engines and motorcycles, he's a "happy camper". He did say that he liked the tumblers the best this year!

The other day Blaise called me into the room to show me that he had set up the bed for himself and his buddies to be nice and cozy. The perfect way to watch cartoons!

Let's see if we can get a "visual" on the Crazy Yellow Craft ... again! I tried to post this before but for some reason I got sound but no picture ... sooo I tried using Quicktime on this one. I'm still getting use to the differences with my laptop and my desktop as far as the downloads that I use for compression. This was sure a fun ride for Daddy and Blaise ... I'm next!

Time for a Trim

Going for a haircut is a fun adventure for Blaise. We go to a place that is totally kid friendly. Blaise looks forward to his haircuts. They have toys, videos and of course when he's finished,

he has a choice of a lollypop or a toy. He always wants to stay and play for a bit when we're finished. I remember our first time, he sat on my lap ... not now, he's a Big Boy...just ask him!

"Let's Hit the Slopes"!

Daddy came home the other night with the coolest surprise ..new skis for Blaise! They were the perfect size. Here he is trying them out for feel (with his "Wiggles Slippers" for comfort). We can't wait to get up to the slopes ... lots of fun for all of us ... a true adventure!

The Crazy Yellow Craft

Now this is the wackiest craft that you have ever seen. It is lightweight and very strong ... can carry two people as you will see in the video. Blaise and Daddy had a blast cruisin down the street!

"Giddy Up Horsey!

Blaise was quite the horseman, all decked out in his cowboy boots ... he got the "clicking" noise down to make "Marshall" move right along ... he'll be riding solo before we know it!

We had such a fun time up at Uncle Scotty's house over the New Years. I hadn't been riding in eons and it was the first time for Blaise and me together. So much fun!

Blaise's Garage

This is Blaise's new garage that he got for Christmas. He loves sitting in his blow up chair and having picnic lunches in the garage.

"Bulldozer Blaise"

Blaise got a cool remote control bulldozer for Christmas and couldn't wait to try it out in the sand. He is quite good with the controls and showed Me how it worked!!

Auntie Aida and Grandma come to vist

The week before Christmas my sister and Mom, came to town for a holiday visit. Here is a pic of all of us at the beach. Blaise wanted to play with Auntie and Grandma at one of his favorite parks!

We had a Great Weekend with Uncle Scotty, Mrs. "C" and Amy at the ranch. Blaise had a blast with the tractor ... this is a bit of his fun!!

This was Blaise's first time decorating a gingerbread house and he had a Blast! The holidays are always a festive time at our house and of course Blaise is always right by my side in the kitchen when we are making all of our goodies. Sound will be my next venture and that will make the slide shows come to life!

Yes, I am a bit injured at the moment so I am at the gym on the walker and trying out this cool internet access. It is a bit hard to type and walk so I probably won't be doing this again...plus I have to type with one finger, so that I can guard my ribs on the right side...no jarring allowed! If I want to eat those Christmas goodies I have to burn the calories somehow ...better not fall off, how would I explain it to work..

Uncle Sean comes to visit

Uncle Sean, my brother, was in the state for business for a few days so after he was finished work he jetted up to see us for the evening and spent the night. Blaise was thrilled! We don't get to see Uncle Sean much because he lives in Hawaii .. I know, I know, we should be getting over there to see him ... soon ! ...besides, Blaise has three cousins 6, 4, and 2 that he would have a blast playing with at the beach!


Storytime and tubtime are favorites of Blaise and to have Uncle Sean here to join in was the Best for him!

Fireworks Show as seen from our house

This was a Holiday Fireworks Show that was down at the mall. We heard the noises outside and stepped out to see this cool show! This was so neat! Blaise really enjoyed it as you can hear in the video.
